Junghans Meister Driver Hand-wind ref. 027/3608.00, an automotive-inspired watch, revives Maybach DS8 Zeppelin luxury car of the 1930’s. The look takes after this rare vehicle, combining design and quality.
With grey and sand-colored effect lacquer dial, this drivers watch bears a seconds tracker sub-dial at 6”. It uses prominent Arabic minute markers, along with the hour markers on the outer rim. These markers are infused with an environment-friendly luminous substance as to the grey dauphine hands for easy reading at night.
The retro-style convex hard plexiglass with SICRALAN coating has enhanced scratch resistance to prevent damage. The crystal glass also adds to the classic beauty of the watch with the glossy dome shape it features.
Junghans Meister Driver works with hand-winding movement cal. J815.1 a top-grade movement. The movement lies beneath the polished solid stainless steel case sizing 37.7mm with 7.3 mm height and can be admired through the transparent mineral crystal case back. It exhibits at the back an awe-inspiring arranged movement with decorative Geneva stripes and blued screws.
Junghans Meister Driver enjoys a beige leather strap with perforation at the back enables breathability which is ideal for a comfortable grasp on the wrist. The design is inspired by 30’s-era race car drivers watches and completes the look of an automotive-inspired watch.
