Junghans Max Bill Chronograph with Day/Date ref 027/4501.01 remains original since the collection was created in 1961 by Max Bill (signature on the case back). It proudly exhibits the work of an extraordinary timepiece designer for the last century.
The dress sports watch features a noticeable retro-style domed plexiglass with a Sicralan coating, that directs the eyes on the watch face and therefore brings its main function—measuring time. It also has rounded hour Arabic numerals that accentuate on the anthracite-grey dial which bears the day and date display of the watch at the 3 o’clock position.
The hands of this wristwatch feature environment-friendly luminous substance in a sword style prominent to the polished watch face. The two subdials display 30-minute and 12-hour counter with two chronograph pushers at two and four o’clock position that functions as start/stop and reset, respectively.
Junghans Max Bill Chronoscope is powered by a self-winding movement cal. J880.2 with 48-hour power reserve and offers a 30-meter water resistance.
The tan calfskin strap with stainless buckle secures warmly on the wrist.
