This pre-loved timepiece is a sure must-have in your collection. Seiko 6309-7290 Divers watch is a slimmed down variation in the known 70’s Seiko divers series and this specific watch was most probably manufactured in 1982.
This affordable vintage watch comes in with a newly replaced matte black dial. Markers and lumes are all legible with hands that are newly attached as well.
At 3 o’clock position on the dial is the clear Day/Date window.
Covering this watch face is the original flat crystal made of mineral glass that was slightly polished.
The bezel is authentic (not modified) with the correct bi-directional bezel color/model combination, in this case, BLACK bezel.
Please check the model number table below.
This watch features Seiko’s workhouse 6309A caliber, 17-jewel self-winding working (Automatic) mechanical movement.
Encasing this watch is an original 41mm stainless steel case that has minor scratches to show its age.
Its original screw down crown is classicly positioned at 4 o’clock designed to be less obtrusive for more comfortable wear.
It has an aftermarket 22 Seiko vented rubber strap secured through classic buckle set-up.
The watch is as close to original as a 40 years old watch can be (it was serviced, cleaned and oiled).
This Seiko is fully functional but with NO water resistance test done.
