Citizen Eco Drive Rose Gold Tone Stainless Steel Day Date ref. AO9003-16A captures anyone’s attention with its vintage style marked on every aspect of this watch. 

This dress watch displays a regular analog timekeeping with a functional day and date display. Instead of a window display, the day and date are represented in subdials at 3” and 9” showing markings of 7 days in a week and 1 up to 31 dates in a month. It has gold-tone dauphine hands passing around the dial with Arabic numeral printed hour markers and printed 60-minute markings on the outer rim. The watch display is covered with scratch resistant mineral crystal glass that protects the movements on the dial.

This Eco-Drive watch is light-powered. Citizen’s invented Eco-Drive to converted light power to electrical energy. The watch panel (under the dial) can virtually use any light source, natural or artificial, to be converted into electrical energy. Eco-Drive features a lithium-ion cell storing this energy.

This means you do not require any battery replacement, charging or winding to maintain constant operation. Eco-Drive is ecologically friendly as it does not need battery replacement which is very polluting to the environment.

A typical Eco-Drive will work for at least 6 months, even if stored in the dark.

Encasing the movement, its stainless steel case is coated with rose-gold tones to lend that vintage look in a 42mm round by 11mm thickness watch. Completing this timepiece is a genuine black croc-leather made to wrap comfortably around the wrist.
