Citizen Men’s Sport Classic Stainless Steel Eco-Drive with Date ref. BM7090-51A is both functional and classic in design. The Citizen timepiece features sleek delicate curves proportionally designed.

This dress watch exhibits in simple analog timekeeping a white dial with a date function displayed at 3 o’clock position. It has bold Arabic printed hour markers and a low profile printed minute markings at the outer rim. The black sword hands protruding from the watch face is embellished with luminous substance to be legible even at absolute dark, while covering the dial is a scratch resistant hardened mineral glass crystal.

Everything is kept simple in this classic timepiece yet the real deal lies beneath the dial. 

This Eco-Drive watch is light-powered. Citizen’s invented Eco-Drive to converted light power to electrical energy. The watch panel (under the dial) can virtually use any light source, natural or artificial, to be converted into electrical energy. Eco-Drive features a lithium-ion cell storing this energy.

This means you do not require any battery replacement, charging or winding to maintain constant operation. Eco-Drive is ecologically friendly as it does not need battery replacement which is very polluting to the environment.

A typical Eco-Drive will work for at least 6 months, even if stored in the dark.

This movement drives the gears beneath the polished stainless steel case. Paring the case is a stainless steel linked bracelet with brushed and polished finishing, completing the watch in secured comfortable grasp for the wrist.
