Citizen Eco-Drive Aviator Chronograph Date Men’s Watch CA4215-04W

This vintage style Citizen Aviator Chronograph Eco-Drive Men´s Date ref. CA4215-04W wrist couture is reminiscent watches used by 1950s aviators for transatlantic flights.

Featuring a unique facade, this pilot/sports watch showcases the golden age of traveling featuring Citizen Avion in a crisp and clean package. It has an analog display ivory dial with complications such as chronograph and date positioned at 4 ½ o’clock. 

The chronograph subdial is positioned at 9” counting 60 minutes.

The 3” subdial is the 24-hour indicator of the watch time, so even if you fly over the Atlantic you know if it is day or night.

While positioned at 6” is the time 60-second counter smaller subdial. 

For time reading, small printed hour markers are legible on the inner rim while bolder printed minute markers starting 60 are noticeable on the mid-outer rim. Its orange-accented hands are readable at night with its luminous touch. Covering this display is a tough mineral glass crystal with scratch resistant properties. 

This watch has Citizen’s invented Eco-Drive green movement that converts light power to electrical energy. The watch panel (under the dial) can virtually use any light source, natural or artificial, to be converted into electrical energy. Eco-Drive features a lithium-ion cell storing this energy.

This means you do not require any battery replacement, charging or winding to maintain constant operation. Eco-Drive is ecologically friendly as it does not need battery replacement which is very polluting to the environment.

A typical Eco-Drive will work for at least 6 months, even if stored in the dark.

This movement lies beneath a 45mm by 13mm thick black stainless steel case with two side pushers and crown.  

To complete this watch, brown genuine leather strap gives you that comfortable fit around your wrist.
