As the official timekeeper of 1972 Olympics, Junghans 1972 Chronoscope Quartz Date ref. 041/4262.44 is an homage to the times when Junghans made a large contribution in the sporting world by timing the 1972 Olympiad.

With advanced technology, this sports watch is designed and engineered for accurate timekeeping, mainly a chronograph (stopwatch) function on the visible white dial.

The Junghans 1972 Chronoscope revives the style of the 1970s displaying analog silver-plated dial with three subdials. Chronograph Panda black sub-dials with minutes at 9 o’clock, 24-hour tracker at 3 o’clock and a bright red seconds hand. Its date function peeks between 4 and position.

Additionally, at  6 o’clock you’ll find the watch’s seconds dial.

Luminous baton hands compliment style with the applied hour markers made of stainless steel layered at both sides ends. The wristwatch shows also printed minute and second markers at the rim.

The unidirectional turning bezel shows printed Tachymeter with impressive guilloche pattern at the side that also serves a nice grip. The pattern is mechanically engraved similar to the crown embellished with Junghans logo.

Detailed engraving at the case back to commemorate the proud part of the brand’s heritage in the 1972 Olympic. The wristwatch has a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp that wraps smoothly on the wrist.
